...and it is in these moments of silence that u think a lot

Sometimes when you are stuck on one of life's busy roads; all you want to do is stand there and look back...it might be a highway buzzing with activity that you are looking at...but sometimes, nothing really matters...an eerie silence is all you hear...and it is in these moments of silence that u think a lot...

What hurts you more that your enemy stabbed you in the back because he did not have the guts to face you...
Or your friend who punched you in the face because he had every right and reason to...
The scar on your back reminds you of the betrayal u  faced...
But the memory of that punch brings you back to the moments of a lost friendship...
Both may have caused immense pain...being stabbed behind left an ugly mark....the punch did not...
But in the journey of life, you will remember the punch a lot more often than the stab, strangely because it has only fond memories coming back with it...
It is so true, you never forget your enemies but your heart constantly searches for that one friend you lost along the way....hoping that someday he might just turn up and ask you to come back...
And then you realize that the stab left a scar but you dont feel the pain anymore...
But the punch, though silent and clean has left you with a terrible phantom pain, for life!!

And you are stuck on life's busy highway and all you can do is wish, wait and smile through the pain...:)

  1. nice .......

    what can be worse :

"enemy hitting you in the guts and friend hitting you from behind...."

when you are left asking yourself unanswerable question:

    "what did I do wrong???"

thats when you have nothing to wait for and nothing to nothing to amke up for....

    2. if you could ever "move on" from these things...then it was not a true friend or a true enemy...the pain , the vengeance, the search for damn reason is always there....its not about grieving over the lost time.....enduring the pain of the loss....and then move on for something new....dats so wrong....if its an enemy...then anything to destroy him should be done and he should be punished for punching you like that...for a friend ....you got to know what caused him to hit you blinded and just leave him at that...in both case you got to know the cause and eliminate it so that it never comes back.....grieving and enduring should be left to the other party...

  2. nice ..:)... very true...the real pain is caused when ur closest friend punches u in face ... and even more when he realizes that its going to hit you hard... its easy to overcome any pain from ur enemy when u knw that he is obviously gonna hit but the pain of that punch stays for long...as scars come and go but pain is what stays for long... nice way of description... :)...

    1. it always hurts more to lose friends, be it your mistake or their. And the pain just would not want to go, not now, not ever. Hurts like hell, yet you do hope for the rest of your life it might change, even though deep inside you know it probably never will..

    2. a friend who punched you in the face was not really a friend....you should better get rid of him...i know thats cold...but thats the way it is....all the flowery things about friendship are not always true :)
